ADORAS (Advanced Onboard data Recording and Analysis System) –  aims to improve safety on railways. Main capabilities will be to monitor ongoing actions on board, generate warnings whenever necessary, log the activities from sensors and environment and produce reports for further analysis.

WSIS (World Summit on the Information Society)

WSIS was a two phase Summit endorsed by the United Nations General Assembly under Resolution 56/183 to address the whole range of relevant issues related to the Information Society, through the development of a common vision and understanding of the Information Society and the adoption of a Declaration and a Plan of Action for Implementation by Governments, International Organizations, civil society and business entities.

WSIS was the biggest global gathering up to now regarding the Information Society, more than 19,000 individuals (heads of State and Government, diplomats, representatives from International Organizations, from civil society and from business entities) from 174 countries participated in the Tunis event.

Ministerial European eHealth Conference

Health ministers, senior policy makers and IT experts from across Europe have met in Tromso, Norway for their third European ministerial conference on eHealth, jointly organized by the European Commission and the Norwegian government. The conference and accompanying exhibition showcased the best practices in eHealth.

The strategic meeting of directors of Brno hospitals, of representatives of the Ministry of Health, ombudsman, and the other key stakeholders of regional eHealth. The meeting was focused on the capabilities and limitations of the deployment of the MeDiMed system in medical facilities over the region, patient data security, standardization issues, support of education and research, etc.

Communication Centre at Masaryk University

At the beginning of this project all major hospitals in Brno city started cooperation through our communication centre. There is a large optical network owned and operated by universities in the city of Brno. This network has been developing since 1993 and now it interconnects all universities with their faculties and all the main hospitals in the city as well.
